Welcome to my website! I am glad to have you here as I embark on my journey as a writer to come up with the greatest truths of all time with my blogs. I am happy to write about things that are close to my heart, that is, my experiences  of working with stray animals, my experience as a writer and English language trainer, and, most importantly, my experiences of life. It is all about exploring and loving yourself as I start my journey of self-discovery and healing with all of you. Now, it's not for me. It's for you too.  I want  the joy of writing to pass down to you and help you heal and become self-aware through my therapeutic writing sessions.  All I wish for everyone visiting my website is to allow themselves to be brainwashed by the beauty of life. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sankalita Roy is a writer who is born and raised in the City of Joy , Kolkata. She is the poetess of the book 'Some Unbothered Truths' which lead her to win the title for 'Poet of the Year' by Ukiyoto Publishing in the year 2022. She has published herself in several anthologies, blogs and magazines. Out of her anthologies, Kolkata Diaries Volume 3 has lead her to achieve the title for Best contributor in the many titled series.Besides being a writer, Sankalita is also an International certified English language trainer who specializes mainly in guiding learners for communicative English, teaching British English, business English, public speaking  and IELTS through online platforms . She is a stay at home pet- mumma who loves  to take care of her adorable pets and work for the welfare of stray animals. She is happy to live her dream and spread love and joy across the world.

She Sways Silent Storms 

The book “She Sways Silent Storms” is a compilation of 21 stories revolving around women from different walks of life. These stories are something that makes them wonder about their own lives for once. The heart-to-heart talk. The cycle breakers. Be it teenagers, be it single independent women, be it married women, be it divorcees or be it, old-aged women.  The book is a gift from one woman to all the other women in the world. These stories let you travel into those silent and unspoken lanes of their life for once unapologetically. Most importantly, it teaches women to be determined and resilient as each step carries them in the world of deep retrospection. Most importantly, it teaches women to love themselves for once in their lifetime in the cage of societal expectations that surrounds them till the very end of their lives.

The book Olive Green is deliberately written with the aim to provide the readers the courage to take their own responsibility because what others do is never in our hands as they enter the journey of deep retrospection that enhances their will power and provides them to accept life as it is. It is about taking our own responsibility and move forward when the shackles of the mind ask us to reside in the mud. This book takes a bold approach to mend our inner us to grow, nurture and cherish our lives to heal, to love and to be happy in the smallest things of life. Frequently Asked Questions - Therapeutic Writing Sessions 

1. Do I need to be a writer for this session?

Absolutely not. All you need to do is write and express yourself .

2. Is this the same as therapy or counselling? 

No, I am not a professional mental health expert. This is only an expressive practice for you to bring clarity, emotional release and self-awareness. 

3.Can I book more than one session at a time?

Yes, you can with our 3 to 5 session at a discounted rates.

4. What if I don't want to share about my writing during the session?

That's absolutely okay. What you share in the session is completely up to you.  You can keep your writing private if you want. 

5.Will I get prompts, or will I be asked to write freely?

You will  be guided throughout the session of what to write based on your comfort level. 

6. What do I need to bring in the session?

A notebook and a pen. If you want, you can carry your laptop to write during the session.
